This review has been hidden because it contains spoilers。 To view it， click here。 4。5/5⭐️“i don’t mind chasing you， ellie。 Just let me catch you once in a while” “and you， most of all you。 i want to look at you and say， one evil man did not stop me from presenting my heart to the girl who claimed it。 but if you don’t， i still won’t regret giving it to you。 even then， i don’t regret loving you because it means i win” this book was so good and had so many good quotes abt hope ！ i loved how innocent gabriel was bc of his trauma。 i was so hurt and betrayed for him when ellie sent 4。5/5⭐️“i don’t mind chasing you， ellie。 Just let me catch you once in a while” “and you， most of all you。 i want to look at you and say， one evil man did not stop me from presenting my heart to the girl who claimed it。 but if you don’t， i still won’t regret giving it to you。 even then， i don’t regret loving you because it means i win” this book was so good and had so many good quotes abt hope ！ i loved how innocent gabriel was bc of his trauma。 i was so hurt and betrayed for him when ellie sent in another lady to go in the room with gabriel when she knew he’d be uncomfortable 💔i think the ending was sort of rushed。 like the part when gabriel found wyatt it was just very rushed。 why would the kidnapper only lock up one prisoner instead of both？ idk it feels like it just needed more time。 i also don’t rlly like how gabriel was the one to find wyatt it’s kinda cliche。 i can see why the author did that but it’s so predictable。 there were definitely a lot of predictable sort of cliche parts but at the same time i wanted that to happen。i felt that ellie didn’t need that many chapters on her development。 don’t get me wrong i loved it but there was a rlly long chapter mainly abt her new job。 i love how welcoming lien mai was。 and also why would mrs hollyfields daughter give her the money while ellie was healing herself instead of giving it to her years ago？ idk i don’t rlly like that timeline。 besides the ending i absolutely adored this book。 。。。more

Il y a des romans qui parlent plus que d'autres， et celui-ci à su me parler et même me comprendre。 Je crois que mon coup de coeur et le reflet que j'ai ressenti en refermant le roman même si je voulais encore resté auprès d'eux et apprendre à aimer et à s'aimer。Il y a des vies qui sont fait pour qu'elle se percute。 Gabriel a besoin l'aide d'une personne pour supporter qu'on le touche。 Pour cela， il veut que Crystal， stripteaseuse de métier， l'aide en ce sens。 Crystal ne sait que penser de cet ho Il y a des romans qui parlent plus que d'autres， et celui-ci à su me parler et même me comprendre。 Je crois que mon coup de coeur et le reflet que j'ai ressenti en refermant le roman même si je voulais encore resté auprès d'eux et apprendre à aimer et à s'aimer。Il y a des vies qui sont fait pour qu'elle se percute。 Gabriel a besoin l'aide d'une personne pour supporter qu'on le touche。 Pour cela， il veut que Crystal， stripteaseuse de métier， l'aide en ce sens。 Crystal ne sait que penser de cet homme qui n'a rien à faire dans ce club surtout avec son regard qui dévoile et perçoit tout。 Suite à de mauvaise décision， Crystal est contrainte d'accepter l'aide de Gabriel。Parviendront-ils à avancer ？Mia Sheridan est une autrice qui sait parler aux âmes。 J'ai l'impression qu'elle va puiser au fond d'elle-même pour trouver un sens dans la vie de ses personnages suite à leur passé qui font d'eux ce qu'ils sont au moment du récit。Gabriel est un homme qui travaille en tant que sculpteur sur marbre。 Il a été séquestré pendant plusieurs années et il s'en et sorti。 Malgré ça， il vit sa vie en reclus auprès de ses proches。 Mais， quand il veut passer à la vitesse supérieur pour avoir sa propre famille， Gabriel doit apprendre à apprécier être touché。Crystal est stripteaseuse。 Elle s'enferme dans son monde à la moindre sensation ou au moindre désagrément qu'elle subit de plus en plus dans son travail et dans sa vie privée。La rencontre de Crystal et de Gabriel est un peu dû au hasard et il faut croire que ce revirement dans leurs vies étaient pour le mieux。 Gabriel qui déteste être touché ou même trop approché veut tenter d'aller plus loin quitte à se perdre。 Ce qu'il propose à Crystal est de bonne foi mais il comprend rapidement que sa demande peut paraître un tantinet désuète au vu du ressenti de Crystal。 Cette dernière ne voit pas très bien où veut en venir Gabriel et pourquoi veut-il être touché。C'est quand ils commencent à s'apprivoiser que Crystal comprend que Gabriel peut lui causer sa perte et même d'avantage。 Pourtant， pour l'argent qu'elle a besoin， Crystal va tenter d'aider Gabriel quitte à se brûler les ailes。 Mais s'en est trop pour elle， elle finit par commettre une erreur et fini à l'hôpital après s'être fait battre par trois hommes suite à une altercation。Malgré ce qu'elle lui a fait subir， Gabriel va venir en aide à Crystal et pourquoi pas s'aider mutuellement malgré le rejet de Crystal lors de leur dernière rencontre。Les péripéties que vont subir les personnages vont faire du bien comme du mal。 Il va y avoir beaucoup de haut dans une relation tendu entre Gabriel et Crystal mais également des bas qui va mettre à mal les avancés fait。 Il va y avoir d'autres petits problèmes que chacun semble comprendre pendant que l'autre a besoin de faire face。 L'espace， malgré l'amour ressenti et donné。 Je crois que c'est dur de perdre l'être aimé une fois qu'on l'a enfin touché du doigt。 L'expérience laisse un goût amer pour ses deux âmes qui avaient déjà tellement perdu mais pour se retrouver il faut d'abord se trouver soi-même。La fin est digne d'une science-fiction pour Gabriel qui va subir de plein fouet une expérience qu'il aurait préféré évité。 Mais， tout ce fini bien et j'aime ce que Mia Sheridan a donné à ses personnages pour nous montrer qu'on peut toujours se relever après être tombé même si c'est difficile。Toi plus que tout m'a fait chaviré mon petit coeur tout mou et trop plein。 Crystal et Gabriel ont chacun à leur façon réussi à me faire comprendre beaucoup de choses en passant par les mains de Mia Sheridan。 。。。more

I’d give this one 3。5/5⭐️ but the ending bothered me。 It was too surreal and unrealistic and didn’t fit well。 Especially the hero part。 I enjoyed the characters， but again the weird love triangle was strange and didn’t fit in very well。 I just found this one to be ok。
